On our way home, we stopped in Kelowna to visit the Gowards. The kids played so well together, and Erin and I even got to go out for coffee while Owen watched the kids. I'm sure that was a run on sentence, but oh well. Our trip was great!

I recently bought Sophie some Dora panties. I thought that these beauties might kick start some interest in potty training and being a "big girl". As you can see, Sophie had another idea for them.

I had forgotten how much work it can be to teach someone how to to use a spoon. As you can see, Levi was having a blast throughout the "lesson". The spoon was simply for decoration!

Ethan's "idea"
Upon waking up, Ethan let me know that he had some great ideas for today. He then asked Sophie and I to sit down in the living room, so that we could "really" listen to him. Ethan said; "Ok mum, your job is the dining room, and Sophie your job is the kitchen with mums help!" I asked him what his job was for the day, Ethan proceeded to tell me that his job was to "sit on the couch and watch us to make sure that we were doing a good job". I laughed quietly to myself. Sophie however was not so gracious, she said "no way brother"!

Self Serve Meds?
Levi took matters into his own hands while being sick with a cold. Even though this bottle was empty he seemed to feel "better" as long as he was holding onto it!

The Macrae Clan!
We had a Macrae family christmas party. Our theme of the party was Scottish, filled with plaid and even haggis. We enjoyed being with Lee's dad Dave, brother Stevie, and sisters Suzanne,Tisha, and Molly.

Levi is one!
Our dear Levi is one today! This picture was taken today at the same time that he was born. I can't believe how much children grow in one year. Levi has brought such joy to our family. More birthday pictures will follow.

Oh Christmas Tree!
This was a wonderful experience picking out our christmas tree together. We got it from Ikea of all places. Ethan insisted on having it on his lap on the way home. The van smelled amazing!

This picture reminds me of my grade 8 home economics teacher. Mrs.Mcgregor constantly reminded us that counters are for crumbs not bums! I'm not too confident that she would find this picture as cute as I do. Ha Ha.

Little Bakers
Ethan, Sophie, and I had a great time baking cookies together. They especially enjoyed licking the beaters. I remember feeling very special when mum allowed me to take a lick. Anyway, as I took Sophie's beater away (with ample warning), a look of horror crossed her face. What happened next suprised me. Sophie yelled out; "Mom, your not nothin". I left the room and had to quietly chuckle.
