A Day Trip to Banff

Crystal and I took our kids for a little adventure to the mountains! We were going to walk along a few trails, but a grizzly was in the area. We very happily played at a park. Crystal and I met in Victoria about ten years ago. She and her husband Andrew have a little girl named Grace, and a baby due in January. We really enjoyed the drive together. The children were strapped in and happy, and we were able to visit without much distraction. It was a wonderful day.

A Big Day of Firsts!

Ethan's preschool had an end of the year "Fun Day". Ethan had his first sack race, and a three leg race. He was soooo excited to compete.

Sophie really enjoyed her first weiner roast. Unfortunately it was very cold that day, so a smile from her was a little far fetched. Lee took the day off to be with us and it was awesome.

Grandpa went along with Ethan and his preschool to a farm. Ethan was so excited about riding the school bus with his grandpa!

Lions, Tigers, and Diggers Oh My!

My dad and I took the kids to the Calgary Zoo. They saw everything from camels to hippos. We were a little shocked at how amazed they were at the diggers. I shouldn't be suprised by this, especially having boys. We had a good laugh over this one!
