We had a Macrae family christmas party. Our theme of the party was Scottish, filled with plaid and even haggis. We enjoyed being with Lee's dad Dave, brother Stevie, and sisters Suzanne,Tisha, and Molly.

Levi's first birthday party!

Our dear Levi is one today! This picture was taken today at the same time that he was born. I can't believe how much children grow in one year. Levi has brought such joy to our family. More birthday pictures will follow.

Oh Christmas Tree!

This was a wonderful experience picking out our christmas tree together. We got it from Ikea of all places. Ethan insisted on having it on his lap on the way home. The van smelled amazing!

This picture reminds me of my grade 8 home economics teacher. Mrs.Mcgregor constantly reminded us that counters are for crumbs not bums! I'm not too confident that she would find this picture as cute as I do. Ha Ha.

Little Bakers

Ethan, Sophie, and I had a great time baking cookies together. They especially enjoyed licking the beaters. I remember feeling very special when mum allowed me to take a lick. Anyway, as I took Sophie's beater away (with ample warning), a look of horror crossed her face. What happened next suprised me. Sophie yelled out; "Mom, your not nothin". I left the room and had to quietly chuckle.

Dress up fun!!!

Our happy boy walked today for the first time. He is setting a record for the Macrae babies. Ethan walked at 18 months, Sophie at 15 months, and Levi at 10 1/2 months!

Sweethearts!!!

Lee and I had a wonderful weekend away at a marriage retreat in Cache Creek. We were so grateful to have time alone together. No diapers, timelines ,or worries, just eachother! Thanks very much to Granny and Grandpa for looking after our three kids. They drove all the way from Victoria to Calgary for this weekend.

Thanksgiving dinner

A bit of a late post, but we had a great thanksgiving dinner! Our good friends Kristy, Derek, and Joel joined us for my first official turkey dinner. Look at how good that gravy turned out. Ha Ha

The Burning Nipple

We had quite a bit of excitement the other day! We could smell a very strong burning odor. After searching up in our house, we thought that we would check the basement suite. The tenants were out and so we felt that we should call the fire department just to be safe. Just as we made the call, Lee found out what had been burning. As you can tell from the picture, a nipple had fallen inside the dishwasher and was burning on the element. The guys were very understanding and agreed to a picture with the kids. This picture does not give the moment justice. Ethan's face was beaming like I had never seen before. Good story eh?

We had an orange party. Everyone was wearing orange. Even the cupcakes had orange cream cheese icing! Ethan has already planned out that his next birthday color will be red.

Uncle Rob came over last week for a visit. The kids as you can see had a blast with uncle "Wob". I over heard Ethan and Rob playin a game. Ethan said,"Uncle Wob, I will be the pirate and you can be the treasure". Since Rob has left, Sophie calls me Uncle mom! Oh how cute.
